Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary: £28,000-£30,000

Job Type: Temporary (6 months)

Our client, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and experienced in managing financial transactions. With this being a 6 month contract our client is looking for a diligent individual to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and payment.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any payment issues.
• Prepare electronic transfers, checks, and payment runs.
• Record financial transactions in accounting software.
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of accounts payable or similar finance experience.
• Relevant qualification in finance or accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills for vendor and internal interactions.
