Interim year-end & audit support accountant role

Your new role
The Hays senior finance team in Bristol are looking for qualified, technically strong accountants for a year-end & audit support project role in Bristol. This would require up to 3 candidates who could start relatively quickly & commit to working for the rest of this calendar year at least.
The interview process would be a 1 stage process via teams & then you would be likely to start relatively soon afterwards, so we need to speak with candidates who can be available at short notice.


We are looking to speak with accountants who are fully qualified & experienced in audit / financial statements, ideally for large multinational businesses & you need to have experience using/ working with IFRS.

• This project role is OUTSIDE IR35 and paid weekly
• You will need to be able to prepare notes and disclosures for group accounts.
• Be able to support ad hoc audit queries or year-end preparation needs
• Ability to stay on top of deliverables and intervening to resolve impasses.
• Be able to work on a hybrid basis in the Bristol area
• Experience working with large, multinational companies is essential.
• Experience of using IFRS is essential.
