Are you a skilled Accounts Assistant with native–level fluency in German? Do you have a passion for finance and a strong understanding of accounting principles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client s dynamic team in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger Management: Process customer invoices, handle customer queries, and allocate receipts efficiently.
• Credit Control: Monitor and manage overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Cash Flow Management: Maintain and update the Cash Flow Forecast to support financial planning and decision–making.
• Period End Journals: Assist in the preparation and posting of period end journals.
• VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Fluency in German: Native–level fluency in German is essential for this role.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting position.
• VAT Knowledge: A strong understanding of VAT regulations is highly advantageous.
• Qualifications: Accounting qualifications are highly advantageous, but not essential.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
