Finance Business Partner

Due to continued business success, a thriving manufacturing business in the heart of the Lake District has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner. This is a key role for the business, reporting into the FP & A Manager, with a broad remit and influencing potential. This also comes with a high degree of flexibility re home-working and potential of compressed/reduced hours.

Specific duties will include:

• Preparing detailed reports for budget holders, assisting them in understanding their costs and impact on profitability
• Budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting activities, liaising closely with the leadership team
• Investigating anomalies/unexpected variances, explaining and/or highlighting trends and identifying areas to drive efficiencies
• Leading on projects such as investigations on commercial performance and improving manufacturing accounting processes

To be considered for this role you should have relevant experience within a manufacturing environment with strong communication and influencing skills. Formal CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification (or working towards) is desirable and Knowledge of an ERP system would be advantageous.
