SOX Compliance Manager

A a 12-15 month FTC International SOX Compliance Manager role, working as part of a close knit team within a Global Organisation.

The role will primarily involve performing and reviewing testing for 3 business units. In addition this person will be required to work on remediating deficiencies, updating control activities and their design and other ad hoc projects as required.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating SOX reporting for 3 Tier 1 international business units (ensuring timely completion of reporting responsibilities):

Perform and review of SOX testing and reporting (quarterly, annual and ad hoc)

Assisting the IT department with user access provisioning controls, including access control management and segregation of duties

Providing guidance to the local finance teams of the business units

Performing Entity Level Controls (ELCs) testing

Assisting with documentation, testing, periodic updates and remediating deficiencies in the international businesses

Identifying risks, design, redesign and implementation of existing compliance measures

Ad hoc improvement projects related to financial and policy compliance

Candidate profile:

Technically competent

Significant SOX or internal audit experience

Excellent communication skills

Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence all levels

Project management skills/experience

Planning and organisation skills

US GAAP knowledge helpful

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
