Our client is a well–established chartered accountancy practice based in Caterham, Surrey. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. The successful Accountant will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience. This is a mixed tax & accounts position, ideal for an experienced practice accountant looking to join a growing team with exceptional exposure on offer.

Within this position, you will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. You may also receive study support if relevant.

Preparation of statutory accounts

Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients

Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations

Preparation of VAT returns

General bookkeeping using cloud software– Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.

Supporting the directors with ad–hoc advisory work

Assisting more junior members of staff

Requirements
You will be ACCA / ACA qualified, or qualified by experience

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.

Experience of cloud software such as Iris, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
