Finance Director

Finance Director, Housebuilding.

Gloucester.

c£150,000 + Car + Bonus and Benefits.

Cognisant are working with a housebuilder with significant funding and ambitious growth plans. As such, they are looking to appoint a Finance Director to oversee the finance team, work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team and operate as a finance business partner.

In addition, you will improve processes, procedures and reporting through COINS including cash flow forecasting, management accounts and land appraisals.

Key aspects:

• Support the Managing Director and senior leadership team in the strategic growth of the business
• Review performance against the 5 year business plan and provide improvements where appropriate
• Monitor financial performance, ensuring the finance team provide timely and accurate information
• Obtain a detailed understanding of risks and costs for new and existing sites and reviewing the potential challenges
• Management of the treasury function including banking relationships and rolling credit facility

Applicants must be a senior qualified accountant with experience of the housebuilding sector. You will have a strong track record of using COINS to deliver accurate and meaningful financial information to aid decision making.
