Management Accountant - Milton Keynes (Hybrid) - Up to £42,000 + Study Support

A leading company based in Milton Keynes, known for our commitment to excellence and innovation is seeking a talented and driven Management Accountant to join their Finance team in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying key trends and potential risks.
• Monitor and analyse costs, providing recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial support and guidance, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Key Requirements:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within a fast-paced or complex business environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software; experience with financial modelling is a plus.
• Excellent analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
