Director Finance Business Partner/FP&A

Your new company
I am currently working with an amazing, global insurance company that is looking for a Director of Finance Business Partnering. This role has come about as the current person is going on maternity leave, they are looking for someone to start asap on a 12-month contract. They are looking for a business partner/FP&A expert within the insurance sector who is energetic, willing to challenge processes and hit the ground running.

Your new role

• Be responsible for the production and delivery of financial management information
• Key personnel for stakeholders across the business, manage relationships across the finance team and wider company
• Responsible for managing the budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, producing high quality analytical data and business plans, reporting back to senior stakeholders
• Support and managing a small team, providing mentorship and development opportunities, reviewing key work and providing feedback
• Understanding key commercial drivers for business performance across the year, providing analysis and commentary

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and experience within the insurance sector
• Experience within Business Partnering and/or FP&A space
• Experience with senior stakeholders and ability to influence and communicate with them
• Team management experience
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAP is ideal
• Excellent financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills
