My client is a well-established business in the Stockport area, they employ over 300 people and have a turnover in excess of £30m. They are a great company to work for with relaxed friendly values. 

On an exclusive basis they have asked me to recruit a Senior Financial accountant for them. This is not an exhaustive list of duties as there will be many ad hoc tasks such as helping out in general with finance and other related business issues. However for the candidate you will definitely be involved with audit preparation, Weekly cash-flow, monthly management accounts, Payroll processing, VAT & accounts preparation, month end journals and depreciation. 

The role is broad and will also be suitable for a variety of people, e.g. you could be from the profession and looking for a role in industry, or perhaps you’re a seasoned accountant and knows how it all works. The key is that for this position you’ll be supporting the Chief accountant and working closely with management. You will definitely be good with the numbers and understand the importance of accuracy and timings.
