SEMI–SENIOR PRACTICE ACCOUNTANT – WIGAN
Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Wigan. This company is looking to grow their team as a result of continued expansion and business growth.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is either part or fully AAT qualified or qualified by experience. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Previous experience in preparing accounts is essential and a basic understanding and experience of personal/corporate tax would be preferable. The company in question are open to candidates at all levels so please do not think you are over qualified
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients.
Regular use of cloud–based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Candidates Attributes:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
Either AAT qualified or late stage AAT and progressing with ACCA or ACA qualification.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
