Interim Project Accountant

Your new role
As Interim Project Accountant, your role will involve unpicking reconciliation issues from recent acquisitions. A key part of this role initially will be to have a deep dive into the issues, before the implementation, improvement, and (where possible) automation of processes and procedures for the group to succeed moving forward. Alongside this, there will be additional adhoc projects where you will be a business partner to the Finance and Transformation Director.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or QBE with previous experience within a hands on, fast paced environment where you have worked on complex reconciliation issues. You will be a driven, ambitious, energetic individual, looking to add value to a business whilst, both professionally and personally. Due to the quick turnaround required, you will need to be available within short notice - no more than 2 weeks' notice from acceptance. The client has specified that you will need SAP experience, and ideally Sage, due to the ERP systems they currently use.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive a competitive daily rate of up to £350 per day (dependent on experience) alongside a hybrid model. Due to this being a stand alone, the role will be predominately remote with occasional visits to meet with the Finance and Transformation Director. You will be joining a well-established and growing business in Macclesfield, with an excellent and friendly Senior Management team and a true opportunity to get involved in a 'business critical' project.
