Your new company

Your new company is a dynamic and growing company based in modern offices in Fulham, and are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join this prestigious business. With a focus on excellence, this company is looking for a new Finance Manager who will be comfortable in a client-facing role.

Your new role

This position has arisen due to continued growth and reorganisation. As a Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to support the partners and senior management team. Your role will be pivotal in developing the financial administration services and delivering top-notch accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting services to their clients.
The key elements of this role are:

  • Oversee financial management tasks, including sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and liaising with overseas accountants.
  • Assist in managing and developing the finance team.
  • Prepare expenditure reports, accounts, forecasts, and other financial reports.
  • Monitor daily cash positions and client funds.
  • Support the Financial Controller with monthly reporting and ad hoc tasks.
  • Oversee the delivery of bookkeeping and accounting services to clients.
  • Manage client accounting teams and prepare quarterly client reports.
  • Coordinate payroll administration and review monthly payroll reports. Assist in processing new clients, including reviewing contract details.
  • Management of 2 direct reports


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven financial management and accounting experience in an SME environment (Or a client focused role).
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Strong presentational skills and initiative to improve business operating and reporting systems.
  • Ideally, experience from a practice background with client-facing experience.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Excel.
