Audit Senior

Your new firm
An independent firm with a long-standing reputation in Manchester is keen to appoint a strong and experienced Audit Senior to their growing Audit division. This role is due to growth within the team, and offers an excellent long-term career opportunity with exposure to some interesting and challenging clients.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior you will lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring that you delegate work to juniors within your team, and provide on the job coaching where appropriate. You will keep both management and your clients updated on the progress of the engagement. As an experienced senior, you will start to review the work of juniors as you hope to eventually step up into an Assistant Manager position in future.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a newly qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Senior or towards the latter end of your studies, either way it is essential that you are confident in leading audits from planning through to completion. You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with both your peers and clients. You will also report to management, ensuring you raise any issues during the engagement and ensuring the deadline of the engagement is met. You will be a team player, and support the junior members of the team as well as the wider audit and general practice team where required.
