Stock Accountant

Your new company
The FMCG business has grown to a very healthy turnover of £22m but with huge growth projections over the next few years.
Your new role
This is a newly created role as a result of rapid expansion, working in the finance team but very closely aligned to supply chain. The firm distributes its goods in the UK and abroad, and has many components which have to be accounted for. You will be handling the receipting of these goods, allocating correct codes, reporting on inventory, dispatches, adjustments and write-offs, accurately reporting on all stock movements, reconciling the balance sheet and reporting on performance using SAP, SAP B1 and Excel.




What you'll need to succeed
You will be actively studying for ACCA or CIMA with exams passed (not just exemptions), have very strong Excel and have worked with an ERP system together with a minimum of 3 years experience dealing with stock (ie from manufacturing or distribution background). FMCG would be ideal but is not essential. You must be self-motivated, have excellent rapport-building skills and aim to qualify.
