About The Company:

We are delighted to be supporting a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) in Hayes with the recruitment of a Finance Officer. Our client aims to deliver the very best educational experience for its pupils with each school bringing its own strengths and expertise.

The Role:

The purpose of this position is to support the Senior Finance Team with the day to day running of the department. As Finance Officer, you will be working in a close-knit team and will be responsible for a variety of transactional duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To process financial transactions in line with the MAT’s policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounts using the MAT’s financial management system
  • Accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Review debtor list and chase outstanding income
  • Assist the Senior Finance Team with ad hoc financial duties
Desirable Skills:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting software
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high level of personal professionalism and confidentiality
