Finance Director

We are recruiting a commercially orientated Finance Director for an integrated creative agency based in the Berkshire area.

Our client is about to embark on a period of growth through acquisitions which requires an external fund raise; this growth activity has necessitated the requirement to identify a new high calibre Finance Director.

Overview: Lead the finance function being responsible for all day-to-day financial activity; be a key member of the senior leadership team; act as a finance business partner to the CEO to help drive profitability and future growth - commercial activity.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and evolve the finance function to better support the business specifically in terms of reporting, KPI's, management information and data analytics.Operating in a commercial capacity across the business to drive client profitability, staff utilisation and optimisation etc.Manage and develop the financial systems to allow the business to scale efficiently i., utilising automation and implementing new dashboards.Own the budgeting and forecasting process. Produce meaningful board packs. Cashflow management. Statutory reporting.Your profile:

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). You will have hands on experience as a Finance Director / Financial Controller / Head of Finance in an integrated agency environment.Possess in-depth experience of the nuances of the agency world relating to finance i. staff utilisation / optimisation, cashflow forecasting.Demonstrable experience of driving commercial initiatives which have had a positive impact on the bottom line.A superb communicator with excellent presentation skills. I will need to see that you are proactive and a solutions focused problem solver.Hybrid working, a minimum of three days per week in the office.
