Europe Finance Manager

Your new company
An innovative and exciting global retailer is looking to hire a new Europe Finance Manager to join their growing finance team. This role will report into the current Group Financial Controller. You will have full ownership of the European entity of this company, being the first point of contact for all finance related queries across the wider business. This will be a blend of financial reporting & commercial finance elements, as well as small team management. You'll be working closely with the German office, therefore need to be German speaking for this position.

Your new role
Reporting to the Group FC, your responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership of the European entities, covering all financial functions
• Financial reporting & commentary
• Financial analysis
• Business partnering with other non-finance functions
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Managing a small finance team

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience handling both financial reporting & commercial finance responsibilities within industry (open on sector, however retail or similar will be advantageous). Small team management experience a bonus. Need to be able to speak German.
