Project Accountant

This business has a proud history and has enjoyed consistent growth, strong EBITDA margin and continues to grow through acquisition. Your role as Interim Project Accountant will be a vital part of their management reporting in the build up to a new system implementation planned for 2025. You will have the opportunity to lead process and system improvement and the drive for efficiencies in addition to input into the new system implementation project.

• Financial reporting and consolidated monthly management accounts for the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Reconciling intercompany transactions and balances and liaising with international counterparts/stakeholders as required
• Assisting in the preparation of group budgets/forecasts and providing insight on variances
• Identification of process and system improvement potential, working with the FD to provide recommendations in readiness for new system

To be considered for this role you should be ACA/ACCA qualified (ideally practice trained) with strong knowledge of financial reporting standards. Experience in contract roles with defined responsibilities and outcomes would be beneficial and experience of Netsuite or a similar ERP is highly desirable.
