Finance Operations Manager

Your new company
I am currently working with a law firm who are looking for a Finance Operations Manager on a short-term interim role to come in and hit the ground running, work alongside the finance team and provide support to the wider business. This role will report into the Head of Finance.

Your new role
The key responsibilities of this role include -

• Leading key projects of systems and processes in the overall finance function, providing improvement recommendations
• Oversee the law firms WIP, billings and collections by regular reviews of the financial statements, forecast meetings and circulating key metric reports
• Supporting the Head of Finance making sure SRA standards and compliance are met across acquisitions, clients, bank reconciliations
• Leading and overseeing the external audit and SRA audit, making sure all information and procedures are correct, reviewing all SRA returns and any violations with auditors
• Respond to any ad hoc requests and make sure all system controls are in place for maximum effectiveness

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified accountant with experience in the legal sector
• Successfully implemented processes and improved efficiencies across financial operations
• Knowledge and experience with WIP, SRA and money laundering
• Revenue background is desirable
