Accounts Payable Clerk

Are you an experienced and ambitious Accounts Payable professional seeking a new opportunity within a global organisation?

We have partnered with a highly successful, international business based on the Essex/Herts border who are seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk on a fixed term contract. (This could turn into a permanent role for the right person).

You will be reporting into the Group Accounts Payable Manager carrying out a wide range of responsibilities including multi–currency payments, high volume invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, month–end reports etc.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining good supplier records and updating payment terms.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• High volume invoice processing across various currencies.
• Reconciling foreign currency supplier accounts.
• Regularly running Accounts Payable reports, raising issues where necessary.
• Resolving internal and external queries relating to purchase ledger.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within Accounts Payable.
• Multi–currency payments exposure (ideally)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
