Trainee to Semi-Senior Accountant or Bookkeeper

A fast–growing accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire, within reach of Ely, Newmarket, St Ives, Bury St Edmunds, and Cambridge are seeking to recruit into a Trainee to Semi–Senior Accountant and / or Bookkeeper position. This firm are able to offer Hybrid and Flexible working, you will only need to go into the office 2–3 days a week.

Due to the flexibility, the salary is negotiable, it will of course depend on experience and qualification level.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Accounts preparation right from receiving records to draft stage
• Auditing (flexible, this can be included or not, dependent on your preference and experience)
• Personal Tax returns
• Corporation Tax returns
• Very occasional administrative support

Requirements:

• The firm are looking for candidates with experience working in accountancy practice who are ideally studying towards the AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification.
