The role:
- Assist with the management of accounts by providing advice and support by monitoring and investigating potential variances to budget
- Provide support and advice on compliance, systems and process
- Assist financial control and management through month and year–end reconciliations and processes.
- Prepare and provide financial reports and information to budget holders to aid budgetary control
- Advise budget holders on a regular basis of their financial position by the monitoring of budgets and variances
- Assist budget holders in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Investigate and respond to queries
- Assist with costings
- Complete month and year–end reconciliations and processes within the required time–frame.
The successful candidate will ideally be studying a professional accounting qualification and have established finance experience.
