We are excited to be partnering with a dedicated International Charity company based in Greater Manchester, North West, who is seeking a passionate and skilled Permanent Systems Accountant. Our client has a large Worldwide presence, committed to making a positive impact within communities across the globe. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Finance Systems Development and Projects, who want to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.

THE JOB

• Manage and enhance financial systems to support accurate reporting and compliance.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for systems upgrades and implementations.
• Collaborate with cross–functional teams to ensure systems meet operational needs.
• Provide training and ongoing support for staff regarding financial systems.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to financial systems and processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.

THE PERSON

• Proven experience in a Systems Accountant role or similar
• Strong knowledge of Finance Systems Development and UAT processes
• Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Ability to manage projects effectively and prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
• A proactive approach with a commitment to high–quality work and continuous improvement

THE OFFER
