Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Hays Senior Finance are exclusively recruiting and partnering with an established, profitable and ambitious retail business based in Hereford.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial finance, financial planning, financial analytics, and management accounting
• Support and drive business decision-making, business partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
• Manage 1 qualified and part-qualified accountant and work closely with the financial control and purchase ledger teams
• Work closely with the data team to ensure that data and systems are used to deliver accurate financial information and the optimal level of business insight and business efficiency

Requirements

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent with 3+ years PQE
• Commercial Finance background is a must
• Strong team leader who has developed individuals and managed performance
• Excellent communication skills with experience of communicating at all levels
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, modelling, planning
• Good knowledge of accounting standards
• High level of numeracy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Have strong finance systems experience, including analytical tools
