Job Title: Payroll & HR Administrator

Employment Type: Full Time / 35 hours per week

Salary: 31,459 – 36,616 / year

Are you a detail–oriented professional with a passion for payroll and HR? A renowned Oxford college is seeking a talented individual to join their team in a dual role that combines payroll processing and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management (4 days/week)Process monthly payroll and RTI submissions
  • Handle statutory reports and HMRC returns
  • Manage employee lifecycle changes in payroll systems
  • Administer pension contributions and auto–enrolment
  • HR Administration (1 day/week)Support new starter on–boarding processes
  • Assist with recruitment and training administration
  • Maintain HR systems and data
  • Administer employee benefits and reward schemes

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2–3 years of payroll processing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in MS Office (Excel and Word)
  • Customer–centric with outstanding communication abilities
  • Proactive problem–solver who thrives under pressure
