Your new role
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accounts for your own portfolio of clients comprising Limited companies, sole traders or partnerships
- Preparing CT computations for Limited Companies
- Preparing basic Self Assessment Tax returns
- Serving as the primary contact for portfolio clients and developing strong working relationships with them
- Preparing periodic bookkeeping and management accounts
- Training and mentoring trainee staff members
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires you to be AAT qualified or qualified by experience, and to have practice experience. Beyond this, you also need:
- Knowledge of CCH suite (preferred)
- Knowledge of Sage/Xero/QBO
- Experience of meeting regular filing deadlines
- The ability to work well within a team
- Basic computer skills in Word and Excel
- Study packages are available and further study options would be considered if required
