Finance Manager

OTS Group Limited is a service and manufacturing business, specialising in providing innovative solutions for the commercial fuels market. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and enhance our financial operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day–to–day finance operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervision of a small finance team, provide mentorship and training support.
  • Prepare and submit various HMRC returns to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee payroll processes and payment runs.
  • Monitor and report cash flow trends, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and other financial analysis and reporting tailored to specific business needs.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities under senior leadership guidance.
  • Identify areas for improving operational efficiency within accounting processes.
  • Assist in implementing basic financial controls to reduce risks.
  • Perform ad–hoc financial projects or team support tasks as business needs arise.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Solid experience in finance and accounting roles with some team supervision.
  • Familiarity with SME finance operations, including VAT, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with Sage accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
