Head of Group Reporting

About the Company:

Communicate is working with an International FTSE-250 Listed Energy company in search of a Head of Group Reporting. With offices worldwide (across the UK, US and Asia) and a turnover of c.£1.5bn turnover, this is an opportunity for an impressive and career driven Group Reporting lead to come on board through a pivotal and exciting part of the company’s growth.

About the Role:

Supporting the senior finance team, you will be working closely with the CFO and will be responsible for all areas of the group finance department's development. Daily responsibilities include financial reporting, technical accounting and working with the Head of Group Tax and Accounting to ensure that Group Reporting Processes are up to a high standard. With a wide range of managerial responsibilities, you must have the ability to work independently and take the lead on technical & financial accounting.

This role will be suited to someone looking to progress into a Group Financial Controller role within the next 2-3 years. You will have previously led multiple entity group consolidations and be looking to join a business with a high level of complexity.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

-ACA/ACCA Big 4 Qualified with significant PQE.

-Significant knowledge of IFRS 15/16

-A proven track record of leading out substantial Finance teams (Ideally within larger, FTSE-listed corporates or blue-chips).

-Prior experience in a Group Reporting Manager or Head of Group Reporting role is preferred.
