Elevation Senior Finance is currently recruiting a Finance Manager for a Private Equity backed Tech business in Leeds.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will vary depending on the needs of the business. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance team you will have duties spanning all accounts areas, along with taking responsibility for the production of various reports.

My client is keen to find a confident and personable qualified accountant with a passion for being involved in the wider business, driving the company forward, and improving the processes and systems within. As a result, they are open to considering both experienced Finance Managers or Accountants seeking that next step in your career.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Ensure strong financial management within a robust control environment
-Manage and develop a robust finance team
-Manage credit risk through regular meetings, use of external credit resources and management of the credit control team
-Assist the Financial Controller with various monthly reporting tasks
-Full control of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
-Manage quarterly VAT return process and other HMRC payment tasks
-Manage the monthly interaction with our payroll providers
-Monthly overhead variance analysis
-Play a lead role in the annual audit, providing accurate analysis and backup to ensure the audit is a smooth process
-Active involvement in the production of the annual Statutory Accounts and lead on the production of the tax computations along side our tax advisors
-Be a key point of contact for daily banking; control the cashflow forecasting and reporting process
-Grow and develop the role to allow the Financial Controller more time on strategic projects

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

-ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to work to tight deadlines
-Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability
-High attention to detail
-Strong Excel skills
