Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a key client based in Leeds as they look to appoint a Finance Reporting Analyst to support their business to play an integral part in the finance Management information team. This role will be predominantly home working.

As a Finance Reporting Business Analyst you will be working to investigate operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective solutions through improvements in new reports, dashboards, systems or processes. The role will lead in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and on the underlying issues arising from investigations into business requirements, identifying options for consideration. The role will work with stakeholders to identify potential benefits and available options for consideration.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

* Plan, communicate and lead on reporting requirement gathering & feedback workshops with internal senior stakeholders
* Engage effectively with stakeholders to create detailed business analysis, outline problems and present opportunities and solutions
* Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
* Produce business analysis deliverables using relevant documentation styles in line with organisational standards
* Evaluate design options making sure that requirements map to the business need, are approved by all the appropriate stakeholders and that they meet with relevant quality standards
* Support development teams in making recommended changes, including the resolution of any potential risks & issues
* Continually evaluate the business analysis processes, making changes and improvements where required, working closely with the team to communicate and implement improvements
* Assist with wider business change activities including engagement, training & communications
* Support the testing of new reporting solutions, following the organisational standard, to ensure outputs align with deliverables

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:-

* At Least 2 years of Business / Reporting Analyst experience in a large corporation
* Strong presentation skills, either face-to-face or online within various contexts and to a variety of audiences
* Ability to work cross-functionally & across multiple projects - understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions
* Strong commercial awareness
* Educated to degree level within relevant subject
* Experience/knowledge with the following tool sets: SAP HANA, Business Objects, Planning Analytics (desirable), Concur (desirable)
