Digital Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a market leading regional accountancy practice in York as they look to grow their Digital Accounting division.

As Digital Finance Manager you will be responsible for leading client relationships, acting as the virtual FD for a variety of different owner managed businesses, managing a team on and off site, identifying and resolving technical queries and supporting with cloud-based implementations.

The successful candidate will be interested in process improvement, working with a variety of systems and be able to identify and implement process improvements and driving change within businesses going through a period of change.

Key Responsibilities:

*Manage workflow within the team/outsourcing and working closely with the client's internal finance team
*Dealing with a varied client portfolio from sectors including ecommerce, manufacturing and construction
*Supporting clients with software implementations
*Resolve technical issues with clients and colleagues partnering with specialist departments
*Virtual FD work
*Plan assignments effectively ensuring work is delivered within strict project deadlines

The ideal candidate:

* ACCA/ACA or Qualified by experience with 3+ years PQ experience in a relevant role
* Experience of preparing management accounts (to include forecasting and budgeting)
* Effective communication skills, both written and in person, with experience of attending and contributing to client meetings
* Strong IT skills including experience of using different accounting packages or systems (ideally Xero/Cloud Accounting software) and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
