Finance Business Partner - Alfreton

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading PLC to recruit a Finance Business Partner for their Operations Finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, this role is an integral part of a team of finance professionals, responsible for all aspects of financial and management reporting for the Group's Operations which comprise of the Planning, Production, Recycling and Logistics functions.

The team that you will be working in support the operations leadership team, evaluating performance, identifying opportunities and issues, and formulating actions to give the Group the best possible chance of achieving its strategic and commercial targets.

Responsibilities will include:

- Business partnering the Director of Recycling Operations
- Supporting development of medium-term recycling strategy
- Identifying risks and opportunities to achieve annual business unit targets
- Developing a strong understanding of the recycling business and processes
- Monthly management reporting and analysis of financial performance for two recycling sites
- COO and Executive Committee presentations
- Month and year-to-go financial forecasts for each recycling business
- Annual budget for each recycling business

Key Skills / Experience:

- CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified accountant
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- SAP system experience preferable, particularly production and financial modules
- Ability to work well with operational staff and translate operational opportunities and issues into financial outputs
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly
