Senior Finance Analyst | Manufacturing

A dynamic and growing multi-faceted, Manufacturing business is looking to fill a newly created Senior Finance Analyst vacancy to support growth plans across its various regions. Reporting to the Finance Director and joining a rapidly growing team, you will be instrumental in assisting the business through its evolution which makes this an exciting time to join this progressive organisation.
Based in Leicester, this is a full-time, permanent role.
Your New Role
The newly appointed Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- The financial and management reporting process for the manufacturing site.
- Continuously seeking to find process efficiencies in the current financial control and reporting processes, streamlining and improving our approach wherever possible.
- Taking a leading role in the review and control of the integrity of financial reporting, including supporting the preparation of monthly profit and cash flow forecasts and the annual budget.
- Providing financial support to the department heads of the region, to identify and define the information required to improve the reporting and understanding of management information.
- Carrying out financial modelling to support business decisions, working closely with the Factory Director to achieve long term goals.
- Overseeing the preparation of VAT and CIS returns.
- Being a key interface with the external audit team, taking a leading role in supporting both internal and external audits.
About You
- You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualified experience.
- You will have some experience in the manufacturing industry and be capable of forecasting against unpredictable costs, with a flexible workforce and short lead times.
- You may have been involved with the preparation of Board Reports which highlight and analyse financial results.
Salary
On offer for the Senior Finance Analyst will be a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a competitive benefits and bonus package.
