Finance Manager - Tax & Subsidiaries

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a Bedford based Client with their recruitment of a Finance Manager (Tax & Subsidiaries), on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for production of balance sheet reconciliations for their area of responsibility. To initiate and monitor remedial actions as required thereby ensuring the integrity and control of the data contained within these accounts. They will manage an accurate and efficient month end process including the production of required reporting, whilst meeting or exceeding agreed timescales, as well as overseeing and ensuring compliance with all technical, financial and reporting requirements for all subsidiaries including year-end statutory reports.

The Finance Manager (Tax & Subsidiaries) will be responsible for ensuring that accounting processes are designed to deliver accurate and timely tax returns, making improvements as needed. They will liaise with the business to ensure that decisions on prospective development and other projects take account of all tax implications. Promoting business understanding of the complex VAT status of the business to ensure accurate coding. They will manage the relationship with external tax advisers, ensuring we get value for money from any advice and ensuring engagement with the business through quarterly tax update meetings.

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual who has trained in practice, and has demonstrable Tax & VAT experience. They will be an exceptional communicator, who has a genuine desire to improve processes.

Our Client is offering a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits.
