This is an initial 9 month contract role with a luxury property developer in Central London. The company in question offers a hybrid working policy. This role is likely to go permanent for the right candidate.

Role and Requirements

  • Monitoring the in-tray and relevant inbox for incoming invoices
  • Reviewing incoming invoices and determining the appropriate action, consulting with others in the business as necessary
  • Preparing monthly payment runs for review by the Entity Accountants, and the Financial Controller
  • Entering payments onto the online banking system and arranging for authorisation of these payments
  • Processing of expense claims for employees following company policy guidelines.
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Liaising with off-shore service providers to ensure that invoices relating to externally managed entities are processed
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and supplier accounts as required
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Check all supplier details (including supplier bank details) ahead of migration to new system
  • Assist in testing new system and checking new processes mirror current processes
  • Updating process notes and educating the commercial users of the business with the new system.
  • Maintaining supplier database.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Essential Skills

  • The ability to communicate effectively to explain processes and policies.
  • Strong IT skills/the ability to quickly pick up new systems.
  • An organised approach to work.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
